David played guitar for Jason in the summer of 2000, and appeared on Open Mike with Mike Bullard on CTV and The Comedy Network, in the Fall of 2000, it was David's 4th appearance on that show.

Although David is not officially in the band (which McCoy apparently refers to as "The Bun Puppets", something to do with an entertaining hamburger or something?) David is considered an honorary bun puppet, and will most likely be seen from time to time in Jason McCoy's show in the future.
