"My first experience meeting Lawnie was at Canada's Wonderland in the summer of 96'. I was on the same bill playing guitar for Jamie Warren. I went to the side of the stage to meet her, and introduce myself , but I caught her in the middle of her autograph session, so I just quickly produced something for her to sign, and went on with my day. Little did I know that I'd not only become her guitarist in the year to follow, but we would forge a friendship that has remained strong to date.

Lawnie is still actively songwriting, acting, and developing material in Canada and Nashville.

Her Dad, Bill, co-wrote the debut Wilkinson's single "26 cents" with Steve Wilkinson."
