I Played in Jamie's band on and off for 2 years in 96' and 97' and in that time Jamie not only became a friend, but an influence on me as a musician, and a writer. He also introduced me to the art of sleeping while driving, and the sport of monitor kicking. Playing in Jamie's band was a great honor for me, and in many ways was my first real introduction to the "Canadian New-country Industry" Directly through that gig, I developed allot of contacts and made allot of friends, that led to many of the other gigs I have done to date. Jamie and his wife Beth, continue to be great friends.
