I've spent the month of December on the Huron Carole Tour. Tom Jackson puts together some top Canadian talent every year, (Or course not making reference to myself in any way, rather the talented group of people I get to travel across the continent with), where was I??? oh, yeah, the tour hits every major city, coast to coast (and a few not so major), raising money for the food banks, and homeless people.

I'm on the road with a stellar cast, making some new friends, and revisiting old ones, traveling with Michael Burgess, Joel Feeney, Bruce Guthro, Beverly Mahood, Shannon Gaye, and of course The Daughters.

Bruce Guthro kicked my ass at pool, Beverly Mahood and I went shopping for pants at the mall for Michael Burgess, we all skidded on the runway in a small jet in northern Manitoba, filmed a CBC documentary during rehearsals in Vancouver, as well as a concert special for CMT.

During days off, we (the Daughters) flew out to Mission, and Victoria, to do our own shows, it proved to be a busy month. The Huron Carole can be seen at various times on CBC, that includes documentary footage, a behind the scenes look, which features me shouting an inquiry about coffee, as well as the banter free version airing on Christmas day on the CMT. Some how between all of this, the Daughters managed to tape a Dini Petty show, a Pamela Wallin Christmas special, (airing on Christmas day as well) several radio shows, and found just enough time to get into a moderately serious car accident in Toronto, just before the CISS FM live at 5 show. We ended off our December work with 2 nights in Winnipeg at the Regent Casino.

I'm home for Christmas and starting work on several albums in the studio in the new year.
